St Columban’s Church: 2010-2012

St Columban’s Church Contract included structural repairs and painting to the Tower/Belfry/Steeple and framing and cladding repairs which CMG Innovation began in the summer of 2012.

CMG Innovation also completed the installation of soffit and fascia for the church exterior and replaced rotten wood and installed flashing in the interior of the steeple.

Working on the steeple, CMG Innovation paid close attention to the hazards that came with Working at Heights, ensuring the work environment was as safe as possible at all times. Fall Arrest Equipment was mandatory and frequent job site inspections from our Health & Safety Co-ordinator ensured that everyone went home safely and maintained a safe work environment for the duration of project.

A Site-Specific Training program was devised to train all new workers to the job on the site’s hazards and how to protect themselves. All workers were trained in Fall Arrest Protection and daily Toolbox Talks drove home specific hazards to that day’s work.
