In September 2013, CMG representatives met with Local 52, an affiliation of CLAC, to sit down and negotiate a new 3 year contract that focused on worker issues such as overtime pay, travel pay and an increase to boot and protective clothing allowance.
CMG Union members voted overwhelmingly in favour of the new contract and all parties involved look forward to another prosperous 3 year contract.
